April Round Up

As we close out yet another month in the world of remote…everything I wanted to reflect on how this month has gone for Art Explorers.

As schools close their doors, I wanted to make sure that Art Explorers could still be present for students. While art classes cannot run as they always have, I want to always provide resources the best I can. One of the best things about art is that it can be done anywhere, anytime, and with limited supplies. Sometimes the best ideas are made with just a piece of scratch paper and Bic pen.

My students have impressed me so much in these last few months. Creating works that bring joy to anyone that sees them. Parents, you have blown me away as well! Your levels of love, patience, and hard work are unparalleled.

I pray that this whole thing ends soon (safely of course). I hope that lessons here can in any way bring some relief to your weeks. Please know that I am always here to help in anyway I can!

I look forward to bringing Art Explorers classes back as soon as schools open back up!!!

Let’s have a wonderful May, the sun is out, nature is healing, and we always have ART!

Best,

Ms. Oki
