Explore Museums All Over the World!- First up... The Tate Museum!

Hello Students!

There are so many exciting resources online now and we will definitely be utilizing them. The world around us is full of art and while we cannot go out to see it at the moment, we can still experience it online. (see link below)

I want you to look through the first museum, which I have always wanted to go to! The Tate Museum is in London and is FULL of British artists and other artists from around the world.

Please look through the different galleries, watch the many YouTube videos they have as a resource.

For this assignment:

- I want you to choose a piece of artwork that you like.

-Draw something inspired by that piece of artwork- that does not mean copy the picture (although if you would like to try to copy it please do). If this piece is realistic but inspires you to create something abstract or completely different, do it!

-Send me a picture of your drawing and label It in the subject line: “Museum Assignment #1 - Name” please put your name in the subject line.

-This is due on Friday 3/27
